Position: Underwriting Assistant Location: Honolulu, HI Pay: $16 to $18/hour Experience: 1 to 2+ years of general office experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent Type: Full-time; Contract Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Underwriting Assistant =to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description Provide clerical support for underwriting submissions and renewals Review submissions for clearance and update Salesforce Review and process Agent of Record (AOR) requests per SOPs Handle premium audit printing, assembly, and distribution Review renewal instructions and distribute accordingly Type, print, and update policy documents as requested Scan and index documentation into appropriate systems Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor Position Requirements Keyboarding 35+ WPM Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize work and multitask to meet deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Team oriented with a positive attitude Ability to collaborate across departments Preferred Qualifications 1 to 2 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.
