Allied / Surgical Tech

Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting surgeons and nurses during operative procedures by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing instruments and equipment, and ensuring the surgical team has everything needed for a successful operation.


Key responsibilities include setting up surgical instruments and supplies, passing tools and materials to the surgeon during procedures, anticipating the surgical team's needs, and assisting with patient preparation and transport. You will also be responsible for maintaining surgical counts, ensuring infection control protocols are followed, and assisting with room turnover between cases.


This fast-paced, detail-driven role requires excellent focus, manual dexterity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You'll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team delivering critical care in high-stakes situations across a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, and cardiovascular procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

BLS certification

Minimum one (1) year of experience
