Registered Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care

6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a critical care position at a Level I Trauma center. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in adult critical care and will be required to float to other campuses as needed. This role includes working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage ventilator support for critically ill patients.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients.
• Assist in intubation and extubation procedures as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent RRT experience, with at least 12 months in critical care.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Active NBRC certification from an approved vendor.
• Valid state licensure with no hits to practice.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
