Endoscopy Nurse

Blue River Surgery Center in Grand Island, NE is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Nurse to provide safe, efficient care for patients undergoing GI and other endoscopic procedures in our ambulatory surgery center. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, patient education, IV starts, moderate sedation administration and monitoring, assisting physicians during procedures, scope handling and reprocessing, and post-anesthesia recovery and discharge teaching. The nurse will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs, uphold infection control and safety protocols, document accurately in the EMR, and support a patient-centered, team-focused culture.
