Job Summary

As a Caregiver at Right At Home, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position is essential in helping our clients lead healthy, fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes. We currently are looking for a caregiver to work 9-5 Monday-Friday one on one with a client in their Cumming home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure client health and safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to promote independence.
• Implement memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent caregiver experience preferred.
• Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices.
• Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in client condition.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and families.
• Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial but not required.
