Logistics Supervisor Location: East Pittsburgh, PA (On‑site) Primary Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure material availability supports production and customer schedules Monitor inventory levels, warehouse organization, cycle counts, and material accuracy Collaborate with production, planning, purchasing, and transportation teams to minimize delays and improve throughput Ensure compliance with shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and company procedures Manage performance of logistics, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling associates; plan and lay out work to ensure orderly flow of material that meets customer requirements and on‑time delivery Continuously involve associates in safety, quality, and on‑time delivery improvement Certify and recertify associates for each skill in critical and non‑critical operations Report concerns to upper management in accordance with policy; handle discipline problems per company policy; review associate performance Maintain equipment, tools, and work area; request maintenance, order items, keep area neat and organized Innovate problem‑solving while following quality and company policies Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet logistics and delivery goals Contribute to departmental cost‑reduction savings in production and process procedures Keep operational records as necessary Work nights, weekends, overtime, and other hours as required by management Conduct associate training in material handling, warehouse equipment operations, and safety procedures Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies for workers Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, shipping schedules, inventory plans, and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate current estimates and outputs Work with Operations, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to implement and maintain Holtec's Quality Assurance standards Observe work and monitor operations to ensure associates conform to logistics, inventory, and operational standards Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or high school diploma and 3+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing facility Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, material flow, inventory management, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing support operations preferred Demonstrated ability to identify and implement continuous improvement in all business areas Strong communication skills (verbal, written, oral, listening) Ability to build constructive and effective relationships throughout the organization Ability to lead performance of logistics and warehouse associates in safety, people, quality, customer responsiveness, and cost Comfortable working with multiple levels of the organization to complete goals Problem‑solving skills and detail oriented Ability to work independently with little supervision Working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory controls, and warehouse management software Self‑starter with good organizational skills and ability to adapt to a flexible schedule Physical demands: regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and walk for long periods; frequently required to stand/walk 85% of the workday, climb, lift and carry up to 20 lbs; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs; may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions in manufacturing; ability to work under pressure and with diverse personalities Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities Benefits Industry‑leading medical, dental, and vision coverage with generous employer premium contribution and Day‑1 eligibility Hybrid work opportunities through FLEX Program where business needs and role requirements allow 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match and immediate vesting Paid time off and 11 paid holidays Wellness program with rewards for participation in health initiatives Commuter benefits for mass transit and parking options Company‑paid life and AD&D insurance Education assistance for continued learning Employee support and voluntary benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program and optional disability, legal, identity‑theft, and insurance coverage Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary by role, location, and employment status #J-18808-Ljbffr
