Position Summary

We are seeking an OMS Application Support Analyst to provide subject matter expertise and operational support for a large-scale Outage Management System (OMS) environment within a utility organization. This role will support ongoing OMS projects, system enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, testing activities, and operational support efforts related to OpenGrid Network (formerly PragmaUP/PragmaLINE).

The ideal candidate brings strong utility OMS experience, technical troubleshooting capabilities, and expertise supporting outage management applications, databases, and server environments while collaborating with business, operational, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise supporting Outage Management System (OMS) initiatives and enhancement projects

• Support OpenGrid Network (formerly PragmaUP/PragmaLINE) application maintenance and operational activities

• Assist with OMS configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities

• Support database and Windows Server upgrade initiatives impacting OMS environments

• Analyze and troubleshoot OMS system logic, workflows, processes, and operational issues

• Support customer communications and outage-related operational activities through OMS platforms

• Perform application support, incident management, defect resolution, and root cause analysis

• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to support system improvements

• Execute testing activities related to upgrades, enhancements, configurations, and releases

• Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and technical knowledge repositories

• Assist with data validation, system monitoring, and application performance analysis

• Support ongoing operational stability, reliability, and continuous improvement efforts

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required

• Experience supporting electrical utility Outage Management Systems (OMS)

• Strong experience with OpenGrid Network (formerly PragmaUP/PragmaLINE)

• Experience providing OMS application maintenance and back-office support

• Experience supporting SQL databases and data-related troubleshooting activities

• Knowledge of Python scripting and automation

• Experience supporting Windows Server environments

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Stable work history within large enterprise organizations

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting utility operational systems and outage management processes

• Experience with OMS implementation, upgrades, and modernization initiatives

• Knowledge of utility customer communications and outage restoration workflows

• Experience with application testing, validation, and release support

• Experience supporting critical utility infrastructure systems

• 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred

• Experience working within regulated utility environments
