Come create chemistry with us!As a Control Systems Project Engineer, you create chemistry by...Leading the design, execution, and commissioning of control system capital projects, with emphasis on programmable logic controller modernization, replacement, and lifecycle management initiatives, as well as safety instrumented and distributed control systems.Serving as the technical authority and single point of accountability for control systems project scope, cost, schedule, and performance, in close partnership with Project Managers.Developing and executing lifecycle management strategies for replacement and modernization of aging automation systems, including legacy programmable logic controller platforms, while maintaining safe and reliable plant operations.Applying continuous improvement and value improving practices to optimize project scope, cost, reliability, and long term operability.Ensuring all projects are executed in full compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements while actively promoting a strong safety culture.Collaborating across engineering, operations, maintenance, and peer groups to share best practices and deliver consistent, high quality technical solutions.If you...Have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as electrical, chemical, automation, or a related field.Bring significant experience executing and leading industrial automation capital projects, including control system replacement, modernization, and lifecycle management initiatives involving programmable logic controller and distributed control system technologies.Possess hands-on experience designing, implementing, and commissioning industrial control system modernization projects in a manufacturing environment, including programmable logic controller replacements, distributed control system migrations, or other legacy automation system upgrades.Demonstrate strong technical leadership and sound engineering judgment when resolving complex or high risk control system challenges.Have solid knowledge of project execution processes, including scope development, cost estimating, risk management, and funding approvals.Exhibit a demonstrated commitment to environmental, health, and safety compliance and to promoting a strong safety culture during project execution.Create your own chemistry with View email address on job-api.jobget.com BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
