Salary: $16.15 per hour

Position Summary: The substitute paraprofessional will provide support and supervision to students and assist the teacher with day-to-day functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist students with learning activities under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Provide individualized or small group support to students
• Maintain a positive learning environment
• Supervise students during non-instructional times such as lunch and recess
• Assist in managing classroom behavior

Qualification Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to form positive relationships with students
• Positive attitude focused on student growth and development
• Must be able to pass a background check

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
