RN - Medical/Surgical - Savannah, GAJob type: Full time PermanentShift: Days & Nights 12 Hour Shifts / Weekend RotationJob Description:In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the health care team, the Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the nursing department.Roles and Responsibilities:Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patientManage efficient flow of patient care including screening, preparation for exams, providing general nursing care and arranging for admissions, testing, and dischargesMaintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination resultsInstruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plansRespond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)Qualification:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateBachelor's Degree or Associate Degree or Registered Nurse DiplomaMinimum of 1+ years of experienceRegistered Nurse License
