Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts (08:00-18:30)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Full-Time

Licenses/Certifications: NM RN license or valid Compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (all via AHA)

Experience: Pediatric and adult patient care experience preferred; new nurses considered at CN I level

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality care in the PACU for adult and pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia
• Conduct patient assessments, establish priorities, and develop individualized care plans
• Reassess patients systematically, identify trends, and implement timely interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare team for discharge planning and patient education
• Perform Point of Care testing and document all interventions accurately
• Float within surgical services as needed, maintaining flexibility in patient care responsibilities
• Adhere to hospital standards and safety protocols at all times

What You Need

Required:

• Current NM RN license or valid Compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (via AHA)
• 2+ years of relevant patient care experience preferred; new nurses considered at CN I level
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Preferred:

• Experience in PACU or surgical recovery units
• Additional nursing certifications or higher education (e.g., B.S.N., MSN)
