Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Physical Therapist license (PT) in Michigan
• Previous experience in a school environment or working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of IEP processes and adapting interventions for diverse student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a caseload, complete accurate documentation, and adjust strategies for the school calendar
• Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic, student-focused environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Track and document student progress while keeping all required records up to date
• Consult with school staff and parents about therapy strategies to foster student independence and participation in school activities
• Provide guidance and support for classroom modifications and assistive equipment as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the school team to ensure the best outcomes for every student
