Starting Pay: $20/hour Position Overview:
J.C. Lewis Ford Pooler is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Porter to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our dealership vehicles. As a Lot Porter, you'll play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our customers by keeping our lot and vehicles in top condition. Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, fuel, and detail vehicles to keep them customer-ready.
- Organize and maintain the dealership lot for easy vehicle access and a professional appearance.
- Assist sales and service teams by preparing vehicles for delivery and retrieving cars for test drives.
- Track and update vehicle inventory information accurately.
- Monitor lot security, ensuring vehicles are locked and reporting any issues.
- Perform light facility maintenance tasks such as cleaning and trash removal.
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth dealership operations.
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and vehicle operation.
- Use of equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, and basic hand tools.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with safety protocols).
- Fast-paced dealership environment with occasional customer interaction.
