The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach is to inspire, enable, and support all youth to realize their full potential as successful, responsible, and impactful members of the community.**PRIMARY FUNCTION:** The Student Success Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive case management, college and career readiness programming, and alumni support across all Legacy Clubhouses. This role ensures that youth and alumni are equipped with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to successfully navigate high school, post-secondary education, and career pathways. Key Responsibilities**Organizational Leadership & Collaboration**● Attend monthly Club Director meetings to provide updates on college and career readiness initiatives, student outcomes, upcoming opportunities, and program needs.● Collaborate with the Fund Development team to provide program data, outcomes, success stories, and other information needed to support grant applications, reporting, and funding opportunities.● Prepare and deliver program updates or presentations to the Board of Directors and other organizational stakeholders, as requested.● Collaborate with Teen Coordinators and Club staff to plan and support Teen Takeover events, college and career events, and other organization-wide teen initiatives.● Represent college, career, and alumni initiatives at organizational events, partner meetings, and community activities as needed.**Case Management & Student Support**● Provide individualized, one-on-one case management for youth across all Legacy Clubhouses● Develop and monitor personalized academic and career plans aligned with student goals● Track student progress, engagement, and outcomes using data-driven practices● Conduct regular check-ins to support academic persistence, goal setting, and decision-making**College & Career Readiness Programming**● Plan and facilitate monthly workshops utilizing Boys & Girls Clubs of America programs, including: ○ Diplomas to Degrees (d2D) ○ Money Matters ○ Career Launch.● Deliver engaging, high-quality programming that promotes post-secondary readiness and workforce development● Create a safe, inclusive, and youth-centered environment that elevates youth voice and participationTraining & Curriculum Development● Design and develop curriculum for d2D, Career Launch, and Money Matters programs● Lead and facilitate training for all Legacy Teen Coordinators to ensure high-quality and consistent program implementation across sites● Provide ongoing coaching, support, and quality assurance to Teen Coordinators delivering workshops**Scholarship & Postsecondary Support**● Manage scholarship application processes, including outreach, tracking, and submission support● Assist students with FAFSA completion, financial aid navigation, and college enrollment steps● Support seniors through the transition from high school to college or career pathways**School & Community Partnerships**● Build and maintain strong relationships with College & Career Centers (CCC) at local high schools● Collaborate with school partners to align support services and share student progress● Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach**Alumni Engagement & Support**● Serve as the d2D Case Manager for alumni attending Long Beach City College (LBCC)● Host on-site office hours twice per week to provide ongoing academic and career support● Maintain consistent communication with alumni to promote persistence and retention● Connect alumni to campus and community resources**Core Competencies** ● Relationship-driven and youth-centered approach ● Data-informed decision-making and progress monitoring ● Strong facilitation and presentation skills ● Commitment to equity, access, and positive youth development## QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field (preferred) ● 2+ years of experience in youth development, case management, or college access programs ● Strong knowledge of college readiness, financial aid, and career pathways ● Experience facilitating workshops and working with diverse youth populations ● Excellent relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills ● Ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and deadlines effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom
