Machinist-Conventional Grinder
Pridestaff is currently seeking a Machinist-Conventional Grinder for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a long-term position with potential for hire. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
Pay: $25.00 to $30 DOE
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday Friday
Seeking a Machinist Conventional or a grinder experience is a must
- Previous experience operating OD grinders, surface grinders, milling machines, turning machines and lathes
- Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
- Prior significant experience in metal working, tool and die making
- Proficient knowledge of machine tools and their functions
- Ability to read prints, detail engineering drawings, and design schematics
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to
Job Requirement/Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of production or manufacturing experience or similar industry highly preferred.
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Ability to use precision measurement tools highly preferred
- Must be willing to submit to an oral drug test (excluding marijuana) and criminal background check prior to start.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
