Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting children’s development this summer in Baltimore, MD. Physical Therapists are needed for two engaging contract opportunities within a well-established school environment. Your expertise will help enhance students’ growth in a dynamic, in-person setting, working closely with both special education and general education populations.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure required
- Experience providing physical therapy services within a school, pediatric, or educational setting
- Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, children, and/or adolescents
- Willingness to complete a district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review per legislative requirements
- Ability to provide images of current licensure for onboarding
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services for Extended School Year (ESY) programs (June 29–July 30, Monday–Thursday) OR infants/toddlers assessments (June 22–July 30, Monday–Thursday)
- Participate in on-site professional development on June 25
- Provide services at assigned school locations, adapting to age group or caseload as determined
- Document therapy sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students’ access to learning through targeted therapy interventions
- Maintain compliance with all school district standards and state regulations
Position Details:
- ESY program: 6 hours per day/24 hours per week
- Infants and toddlers services: 7 hours per day/28 hours per week
- No services on Fridays; all work is Monday–Thursday
- Assignment of schools, caseload types, and age groups to be determined
