What You'll DoAs a Prep Cook at Brooklyn Standard Deli, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our customers enjoy the delicious meals they’ve come to expect. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assisting with food storage and inventory management.
- Supporting the kitchen team in daily operations.
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
We’re searching for someone who’s responsible, reliable, and ready to contribute to our team. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude.
