Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - First Assist

CVOR Tech Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:

Case volume: Approximately 6 cases per day

Currently running 4 rooms daily with facility expansion plans

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience required

NBSTSA or NCCT certification (must have in hand)

Scrub experience required

Current in heart and vascular surgery and scrub tech competency

Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac/vascular procedures

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in complex open-heart and vascular cases

Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient workflow

Participate in patient positioning and transporting as necessary

Support the surgical staff in all aspects of surgical care

Compliance / Notes:

RTO (requested time off) must be listed at the time of submittal

Must have valid allied license in hand when submitting

Call averages 10 days per month, including weekends

Expected to float to like units within scope as needed
