FP&A Analyst

Description We’re seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and decision‑making across the organization while delivering clear, solutions‑oriented insights to senior leadership. This role is well‑suited for a curious, analytical professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful stories and partnering closely with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, identifying trends, risks, and key business drivers. Support financial modeling and analysis for business cases, capital investments, and cost‑saving initiatives. Partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to understand performance drivers and provide actionable insights. Prepare dashboards, financial reports, and executive‑ready presentations for senior leadership. Support month‑end and quarter‑end close processes through financial analysis and reporting. Assist in the ongoing improvement of FP&A tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and insight. Support leadership with commission calculations, reporting, and statements. Partner with Payroll to track and coordinate special compensation arrangements. Collaborate with the Accounting team to maintain oversight of accounts receivable and related reporting. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus). 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems and planning tools is a plus. Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment. Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with sound judgment and follow‑through. Preferred Skills Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms. Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statements. Experience within the automotive industry is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
