Job Description

• Designing Customized Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs thoroughly and create tailored therapy programs aimed at promoting their functional achievements
• Implementing Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive processes, and everyday tasks
• Collaborating with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work seamlessly alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide holistic care
• Educating Patients and Family Members: Train patients and their caregivers in therapeutic practices to foster continued improvement at home
• Tracking and Documenting Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment interventions as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track toward their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandated
