Job Summary:
Immediate need for an Emergency Medicine physician to provide sole ED coverage at a 25-bed rural hospital in Oneida, TN. This is an urgent, high-priority opening with a start date of next week. The facility is highly motivated and flexible on scheduling to get coverage secured.
Shift Details:
- 24/7 ED coverage needed for 2 consecutive weeks
- Open to 24-hour or 48-hour shifts (preferred), or 12-hour/8-hour shifts if needed
- Can be filled by one provider or split between two providers alternating shifts/blocks
- Sole ED provider on shift, with hospitalist MD and APP support available in the inpatient setting
Requirements:
- MD/DO, Board Certified preferred (Board Eligible accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Active TN license required (candidates from anywhere in the US encouraged to apply assistance available for licensure if needed)
- Temporary privileges available for fast credentialing
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay rate: up to $390/hr
- Travel expenses covered
