Assistant Sales Manager

Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, responsible for leading and growing commercial real estate sales activities in Midtown and Midtown South Manhattan. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and mentoring sales associates, overseeing pipelines and deal flow, and coordinating with leadership on revenue targets and market strategies. The Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities, cultivate and maintain client relationships, and negotiate transactions in line with company standards and market conditions. This role also involves preparing and reviewing proposals, analyzing market data, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate listings, marketing materials, and client communications. The Sales Manager is expected to model high ethical standards, deliver strong client service, and contribute to the firm’s long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Strong sales leadership and team management skills, including experience setting targets, coaching performance, and overseeing sales pipelines.
• Commercial real estate knowledge, with experience in property acquisition, disposition, and transaction negotiation, preferably in Manhattan or similar urban markets.
• Business development and relationship management skills, including prospecting, networking, and building long-term client and partner relationships.
• Analytical and financial abilities, such as market research, comparative property analysis, and understanding of basic real estate financial metrics.
• Communication and negotiation skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present to clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, email and calendar applications).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deals simultaneously, and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
• Prior leadership experience in brokerage or real estate sales is highly beneficial; New York real estate license or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
