Sterile Processing Manager

This position is responsible for the support of the IT Director-Auxiliary Services in their responsibilities for the overall deployment and operation of cellular devices (smartphones, tablets, CradlePoints and MiFis).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Helps Support and maintain mobile network server, including monitoring network connectivity, resolving outages, installations/upgrades and troubleshooting as required. Works helpdesk tickets related to cellular/ mobility requests Setting up new hardware (Smartphones & Tablets) and loading all necessary software, packaging & shipment tracking. Prepare hardware for re-deployment including scrubbing & loading all necessary software, packaging & shipment tracking. Prepare obsolete hardware for safe disposal ensuring hardware is secured and wiped before disposal. Interacting with cellular carrier contacts. Maintain the company’s cellular accounts to reflect moves, adds, changes and deletes. Maintain company’s Mobile Device Management system (SOTO-MOBI Control) to reflect moves, adds, changes and deletes. Device support via remote control methods Make recommendations about the purchase of equipment, accessories & resources. Plan, direct, and oversee special projects that may be assigned. Occasional after-hours, night/weekend work may be required Required Skills Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience. Job-related certifications may be consider in lieu of degree Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience is preferred Experience with Mobile Device Management tools - MOBILEIRON IS REQUIRED. SERVER SUPPORT EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Familiarity with Asset Management is preferred Familiarity with ServiceNow and/or ManageEngine is preferred. Ability to work with confidential information Candidate must be able to work independently and in a team environment Must possess strong written, oral and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with outside vendors and internal staff. Detail- and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Flexible and responsive to changing business needs Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage Android and/or iOS - Apple DEP experience needed Required Experience Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
