Job Full Description

Job Summary:


We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Laborer / Backup Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for loading trucks, transporting materials, wrapping pallets, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. When warehouse tasks are complete, the successful candidate will assist on the production can lines. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the flexibility to support multiple areas of the operation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Load trucks and assist with shipping and receiving activities
• Transport components and materials throughout the facility
• Wrap pallets for shipment
• Operate a sit-down forklift as a backup driver when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist on production can lines during downtime
• Follow warehouse and safety procedures to ensure efficient operations
• Complete paperwork accurately with clear, legible handwriting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Good handwriting and basic documentation skills
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to safely move materials
• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to assist wherever needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment
