Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Community Hospital (Grand Junction).

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: CRT required.

Preferred Credentials: Associate’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: Provides respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing treatments, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction. Performs cardiopulmonary diagnostics including electrocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan (cardiolite), dipyridamole (Persantine), dobutamine, stress echocardiograms, tilt tests, holter scanning, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, electroencephalograms, home sleep studies, and home nocturnal oximetry as required. Documents patient records per departmental standards.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
