Laser Operator

We are looking to hire an experienced machinist for a manufacturing facility in Toledo. Operator will be required to operate a 2-axis Mazak Optonics laser machine. Ideal candidate will need to be familiar with operating the nesting software to fabricate the finalized blanks produced by this machine.


Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:15PM

• Capable of running a laser cutter. (Mazak is preferred)
• Responsible for loading and unloading of materials onto the laser bed.
• Pull material from storage locations and put completed parts in assigned locations.
• Comfortable on a forklift moving skids of raw material as well as finished product.
• Willing to learn and capable of following detailed directions.
• Capable of running other shear department equipment including square shear, circle shear, and tube cutter.
• Fill out and document dimensions of every job on the job traveler.
• Inspect material for quality and precision of each part in and out of jobs on computer to document part counts as completed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
• All other duties as assigned

• 2-3 years CNC laser cutting experience preferred.
• Programming experience preferred but not required (Training available).
• Simple arithmetic.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to understand and utilize bin location system.
