Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure Company paid for benefits package (health, dental, vision) 401k plan with match Annual Salary range from $85K to $120K What You’ll Do The HR Generalist supports recruiting, hiring, and workforce needs in a blue-collar road construction environment, sourcing candidates for roles ranging from entry-level field positions to supervisory, management, administrative, fleet, shop, and operations. The role also assists the HR Director with compliant employment practices, HR administration, and employee support. Success requires strong recruiting judgment, practical HR knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with both field and office teams in a fast-paced construction setting. Key Responsibilities Recruit across field, shop, administrative, supervisory, management, fleet, safety, and operations roles. Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, trade schools, workforce programs, industry networks, and direct outreach. Manage the full hiring cycle — postings, screening, interviews, pre-employment checks, offers, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, seasonal demand, position requirements, and long-term workforce planning. Maintain HR records, including applicant tracking, personnel files, and compliance documentation.
