Open Skies is dedicated to bring education about mental illnesses and substance use disorders and treatment for those affected to the local level. Additionally, Open Skies provides important services like respite, behavior management services, treatment foster care, comprehensive community support services, psychiatric services and outpatient therapy. We offer a unique continuum of care with deliberate step-down services. Clients begin in our treatment foster care services and can end with behavior management or respite services. Our array of services allows clients to gradually move through our levels of care as their symptoms and skills improve. The Respite staff work as a part of a team in the Respite center with children ages 3-17 who have been diagnosed with SED diagnosis. Respite staff will engage the children in developmentally appropriate activities and provide behavioral interventions when necessary.
