Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist inpatient (PT IP) position is located in Athens, Texas. This role involves providing acute care and rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the qualifying experience and certification requirements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 hour days, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Texas State license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 years of experience preferred, 1 year of experience as a charge nurse, travel experience preferred, and experience with EMR systems such as Epic
• Certifications: BLS
• Additional Information: UT does not contract travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris counties. All RTO must be listed at time of submittal. Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Experience: 2 years preferred, with at least 1 year of experience required
• Skills: Acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility (SNF), body mechanics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative cervical surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip and knee replacement, cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinsons disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, home exercise programs, patient family education
