Travel RN - OR Circulator

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) with on-call requirements.

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operating Room Technicians, and other personnel to provide exceptional patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely supply of necessary materials for surgical cases.
• Communicating effectively with patients' families and updating physician preference cards.
• Scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases.
• Supervision of personnel delivering patient care within the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
• Strength in specialties including Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and Gynecology.
• Cerner experience is required; CNOR preferred.
• AHCA Fingerprinting required for all Florida travelers prior to the start date.
• Expectation to float between campuses as needed.
