Efforts will involve cost reduction, preventive maintenance programs, documentation, training, troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, and project management.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical projects to include developing project timeliness, spending control, resource management, capital requests, training, documentation, and resourcesWill work with other departments to support projects, including capital projectsDevelop, acquire, and follow operation of both new and existing equipmentAnalyze malfunctions, improve equipment reliability, and direct Engineering and Maintenance associates during installation and troubleshooting as assignedProvide safe and effective machine designs and associated documentation as needed for equipmentProvide on call coverage as scheduledQualificationsBS in Engineering is required (Mechanical Engineering is preferred)Excellent data management and spreadsheet skillsAdvanced knowledge and skill using AutoCAD Mechanical and Solid Works applicationsAble to effectively self-direct and prioritize process/project needsDemonstrate and live Instant Brands Values and BehaviorsExperience in a 24/7 union manufacturing environment is desirableExperience with vendor management and capital project financesHighly organized and capable of operating in a demanding environmentRequires strong leadership skills while working with peers at all levelsMust be highly motivated and results orientedAbility to be a change agent in a fast-paced organizationMust be results focused with a commitment and desire to make an impactUnion experience highly desiredCorelle Brands is an equal opportunity employer with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
