This role assists with patient care, takes dental radiographs, maintains equipment and supplies, and helps ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients of all ages.Key Responsibilities* Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures.* Assist dentists and dental hygienists during patient care, including passing instruments and preparing restorative materials.* Welcome, prepare, and position patients for treatment, including obtaining vital signs when needed.* Take digital dental radiographs in accordance with departmental policies and complete annual radiology competencies.* Clean treatment rooms, maintain infection prevention standards, and prepare instruments for sterilization.* Assist with dental impressions and digital scans under the supervision of a dentist.* Maintain dental supplies, equipment, and workstation inventory.* Accurately document charges and utilize electronic systems to support daily operations.* Promote quality patient care, safety, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.Minimum Requirements* High school diploma or equivalent.* Strong verbal communication skills.* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to maintain certification as a condition of employment.### Preferred Qualifications* One year of chairside dental assisting experience.* Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program or at least two years of on-the-job dental assisting experience.Join Our TeamIf you're passionate about patient care, enjoy working in a collaborative clinical environment, and want to help create healthy smiles every day, we encourage you to apply and join our dental team.
