The Restaurant Manager of Sally's Waterfront Diningisresponsible for managing the daily opportunities required by strong leadership, and manage theday-to-day operation ofhotel outlets. This position is also ultimately responsible for the quality of service provided.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supports and manages the restaurant while working closely withhotel departments
  
• Supports the F&B MOD for outlet operations by learning all operating outlets across the hotel to support when appropriate.
  
• Ensure alignment with immediate supervisors and two directly reporting assistant managers
  
• Responsible for short- and long-term planning to achieve financial and service goals
  
• Ensure effective hiring, training, and individual/team development
  
• Accountability of teams' service and professional standards
  
• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
  
• Full understanding of Colleague engagement and driving results
  
• Develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost control
  
• Create a high energy, positive, professional environment
  
• Plan, coordinate & manage special promotions, events and competitions
  
• Work closely with marketing on promotional and marketing opportunities
  

Salary: The salary range for this position is $72,800 to $95,000. This is the pay range for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications:

• Full-Time Management Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule
• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite), including proficient knowledge of point-of-sale systems, and reservation systems
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills
• Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge. Beverage knowledge should include wine, spirits and beer
• Hotel experience and a thorough understanding of restaurant service
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant or Restaurant Manager is preferred
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service
