From wire harnesses and cable assemblies to complex electromechanical systems, your craftsmanship directly contributes to the products our customers rely on every day.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Assembler Details:Temp-to-Hire position$16.00 to $16.50 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:30am to 11:00pm)Essential Responsibilities:Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanicalCut, strip, crimp, label, route, bundle, and terminate wires and cables.Install connectors, terminals, back shells, heat shrink tubing, protective sleeving, and related hardware.Perform crimping, wire splicing, and cable preparation as required.Assembler Qualifications:Required Qualifications:1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, electrical assembly, or wire harness experience preferred. Experience using hand tools, wire strippers, crimp tools, soldering equipment, and measuring devices.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
