Sr Project Manager Resident EngineerSTV is seeking a Sr Project Manager Resident Engineer for our Transportation Northeast department in Hartford, CT.Responsibilities:Oversee and direct construction projects related to highway/bridges, facilities/buildings, or rail/transit projects from conception to closeout.Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.Identify and document nonconforming work and ensure timely corrective actionOversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.Review and ensure DWR's are completed accurately and timelyMonitor contractor performance, project schedules, milestones, project progress, and critical pathSupervise and mentor inspectors and field technicians to ensure proper coverage and documentation.Serve as the primary contact with CTDOT and project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives, to facilitate project success.Prepare correspondence, reports, and recommendations regarding construction issues.Required Qualifications:Professional Engineering License (PE) with 8 years of experience or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) with 10 years of experience. Experience on transportation infrastructure projects preferred.Strong understanding of CTDOT CEI processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.Knowledge of construction materials and methodsAbility to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of COMPASS and AASHTOWare ProjectNETTCP – Concrete Inspector, ACI – Concrete Certification, NETTCP – HMA Paving Inspector, NACE, AMP, or BCI – Coating Inspector, and ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certifications.Professional Engineer License.Compensation Range:$179,064.64 - $204,645.30STV offers the following benefits: Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account, Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable), Disability insurance, Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment, 401(k) Plan, Retirement Counseling, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Back-Up Dependent Care, Parental Leave, Continuing Education Program, Professional Licensure and Society Memberships.STV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
