Tax Manager Opportunity

We have a tremendous opportunity for a Tax Manager to play a key role on our Tax team for candidates residing in and around Albany, New York. As a highly valued member of our Firm, you will work closely with the Tax team to provide timely, accurate, and reliable completion of client engagements. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns
• Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
• Ability to identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions
• Assist with the developing, training and mentoring of staff and interns
• Recognize the opportunity to provide new and innovative services
• Willingness to learn new tax skills that the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group offers.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting
• An active CPA certification or EA licensure
• A minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn firm technology, present and future

Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Flex Friday scheduling available in accordance with firm policy and business needs. We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times.
