This pivotal position resides with one of our Talent Solutions client where we have established a strong partnership.The Senior Manager, Business Systems is the NetSuite owner for this client. NetSuite runs every wood transaction, every purchase order, every
fulfillment across our vertically integrated hubs and partner network moves through it. We went live earlier this year, and getting there took a company-wide push with support from outside partners. What we haven't had is a single internal owner — and at the rate we're growing, that needs to change. You'll be the first person here whose whole job is making our core systems excellent: learning how each team actually works, deciding what to shape next and in what order, and building the operational backbone for a company heading into its next fundraise and further acquisitions.

Our Revenue Operations lead owns HubSpot end to end; you own NetSuite and the integrations that connect it to everything else. This is a good moment to arrive. The foundational decisions — how we model inventory, units of measure, our transaction flows — are all still open in a way they won't be a year from now. This role builds the systems function from the ground up. No playbook exists yet. You'll write it. is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of NetSuite ERP and the connected cloud business systems that support Company operations. NetSuite is a cloud-based (SaaS) platform; this role focuses on application configuration and business enablement rather than infrastructure, servers, or operating system administration, which are managed by the vendor. Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Manager, this is a hands-on role responsible for keeping NetSuite well-configured, well-governed, and aligned to business needs.

Working under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Manager, the administrator handles user provisioning, configuration changes, saved searches and reports, integration monitoring, and front-line support across Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Retail, Customer Service, and eCommerce. The role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving problems in the system, maintaining data quality, and helping users get the most out of the platform.

What You'll Do Here
Start by Listening: the fastest way to level this system up is to have the conversations a compressed go-live didn't leave room for. In your first weeks you'll sit with purchasing, fulfillment, sales support, and finance to learn how the work actually happens — then publish a clear-eyed assessment of where NetSuite fits the business, where it doesn't, and the order you propose fixing things in. We want a plan the whole company recognizes as accurate, not a backlog of complaints.

Take Ownership of the Configuration: get to the bottom of what's actually in there — SuiteScripts, SuiteFlow workflows, custom records and fields, saved searches, roles and permissions — and document it as you go. On a system this young that's weeks of work rather than quarters, and it's the foundation for everything after. Then tell us honestly what's solid, what needs reshaping, and what should be retired.

Establish Change Management, Technical and Human: we launched fast, which meant changes went to production without much process behind them. You'll build real sandbox-to-production discipline — testing, release process, the ability to roll back. Then you'll own the harder half: getting changes adopted. A NetSuite change that lands badly here doesn't produce a bug report, it produces a workaround, and the people most affected are on forklifts and delivery trucks rather than reading release notes. You'll communicate changes before they land, train people in a format they'll actually absorb, and go back afterward to confirm the new way is the way — not the clipboard someone quietly returned to.

Own the Integration Layer:  you'll be accountable for how our systems talk to each other — the connections to freight, banking, EDI, and our partner network, plus the NetSuite side of the HubSpot handoff, where a closed deal becomes a sales order, a fulfillment, and an invoice. Revenue Operations configures HubSpot; you make sure what lands in NetSuite is correct, monitored, and never fails silently.

Coordinate with Engineering: some of our customer-facing products read from the ERP, which makes NetSuite a production dependency rather than a purely internal tool. Engineering owns the product side and the code that talks to us; you own the ERP side of that contract — which means knowing which fields have downstream consumers and talking to Engineering before you change them. It also means your work reaches customers. Most business systems people never touch anything outside the building; here, the quality of our operational data is visible in the product.

Serve Sales and Fulfillment: these are your power users, and their problems are physical. You'll spend real time in our facilities understanding how material actually moves before proposing how the system should model it — then build the operational reporting they depend on for inventory, purchasing, order status, and fulfillment, and fix the data quality problems that keep people in parallel spreadsheets. Funnel, pipeline, and revenue reporting belong to Revenue Operations; your job is making sure both sets of numbers reconcile.

Own How We Absorb Acquisitions: we've completed four and expect more. Each arrives with its own data, processes, and habits. You'll own the ERP standard — how the operational data model should look, what gets mapped where, what documentation we require — while contractors do the migration labor and Revenue Operations handles the GTM side. Our most recent acquisition is being onboarded to NetSuite right now, so depending on your start date you'll either inherit the tail end of it or arrive just behind it. Then Build. Once the foundation is right, the work ahead is substantive: better fulfillment across owned and partner locations, a smoother experience for our sales team, and the clean operational data our product team needs to show customers what's genuinely available. Matching supply to demand across a fragmented industry is, underneath everything, a systems problem — and these systems need to carry a business two or three times this size as we head toward our next fundraise and further acquisitions. You'll be the person who makes that possible.

Your Skill Sets and Capabilities Include:
Hands-On NetSuite Depth: 5+ years in business systems or ERP administration, including meaningful time as the primary owner of a production instance. You're fluent in saved searches, SuiteFlow, custom records and fields, forms, roles and permissions, CSV imports, and sandbox management.

Experience with Physical Goods: you've run NetSuite in distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing — inventory, purchasing, landed cost, order-to- cash. This matters more to us than total years of experience: NetSuite at a software company is a different product than NetSuite at a company that moves material, and we need the latter. Familiarity with lumber-specific complexity is a significant plus — board foot and unit-of-measure conversion, random width and length tally, grade and species SKU structures, kiln and production tracking.

You've Rescued an Implementation Before:  you've come into a go-live that didn't land well, or a system that worked but wasn't trusted, and turned it around. Critically, you know the difference between a genuine design problem and an expectation that was never set — and you treat them differently. Integration Fluency: you've built and maintained integrations with iPaaS tooling Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or similar) and worked directly with REST and SOAP APIs. You understand how integrations fail, and you've been the person who found out before the business did.

Comfort Working Alongside Engineers:  you can read and debug SuiteScript 2.x, and you understand that when other teams build against your data model, you can't change a field on a whim. You don't need to design integration architecture — that's shared with Engineering — but you do need to be someone engineers find easy to coordinate with.

Documentation Discipline: you document as a matter of habit, not as a project you'll get to later. You can point to environments that were better understood because you were in them.

Requirements and Stakeholder Judgment: you know how to run a real discovery conversation with people who don't speak systems, and to get at what they actually need rather than what they think they're asking for. You can also tell a stakeholder that the answer is a process change rather than a customization, and make the case well enough that they agree. You've said no to a build request and been right. You embody the companies core values.

Change Management That Reaches the Floor: many of your users are in yards, on forklifts, and on delivery trucks, and you go to them rather than waiting for a ticket. You've rolled out ERP or process changes to people who don't sit at desks, and you know a recorded walkthrough and a wiki page don't constitute training for a yard crew. You've verified whether a change was actually adopted rather than assuming it was, and you've won over someone who preferred the old way. What You'll Have to Work With A young system, still cheap to reshape. NetSuite went live earlier this year, so the structural decisions — item and unit-of-measure setup, master data, transaction flows — can still be changed without unwinding years of history. Most people in this field inherit a decade of accumulated constraint and get told nothing can move. Here, almost everything still can. A clean stack. For a company that's completed four acquisitions, our tooling is unusually tidy: Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, HubSpot, and NetSuite. You won't spend your first year untangling forty overlapping tools. A focused mandate. You'll be measured on whether our core systems are reliable and well-liked — not on ticket volume. Specialist help on retainer. We're keeping contractor capacity available through your first year: for surge work, for deep development, and so you're never the only person who has ever seen this environment. You should be able to take a vacation. Real authority. You decide what gets decommissioned, what gets rebuilt, and when we bring in outside help. Architecture decisions in your domain are yours to make, not to recommend. The mandate to build how prioritization works. Systems requests currently arrive via whoever asks loudest. You'll establish the standing forum that replaces that — Finance, Sales, Fulfillment, Revenue Operations, and Engineering at one table, with a ranked backlog everyone can see. You'll have executive backing to convene it, and it's yours to design rather than something you inherit. Room to grow into. If this function grows, it grows around you.

Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000
