Job Title: Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgeon Location: AdventHealth Orlando, Florida Overview We are looking for a dynamic Surgical Critical Care surgeon to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. You will work alongside four other critical care surgeons, the faculty of our general surgery residency program, and an extensive team of critical care physicians for ICU coverage. Responsibilities Provide acute-care, broad-based emergency surgery in a high-volume environment (non-Level 1 trauma). Perform outpatient/elective duties on a rotating week. Provide emergent general surgery/acute care surgical call coverage. Deliver dedicated surgical critical care coverage within the SICU at AdventHealth Orlando or another local AdventHealth facility. Ensure coverage during dedicated time off. Collaborate with major medical and surgical subspecialties, including organ transplants. Qualifications Completion of an ACGME-approved general surgery residency. Board certification (or eligibility) through the American Board of Surgery. Subspecialty fellowship in Surgical Critical Care with board certification (or eligibility) in Surgical Critical Care. Benefits Signing bonus. Relocation assistance.
