Pre-Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview


The Pre-Litigation Paralegal will manage a high-volume caseload and support their attorney throughout the pre-litigation phase. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable communicating with clients, providers, and insurance adjusters. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential.


Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-litigation process
• Gather needed documentation, and maintain organized case files
• Review and summarize medical records and bills
• Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and lien holders
• Draft demand letters, and other pre-litigation documents as needed
• Monitor treatment status and ensure timely follow-up with clients
• Support attorneys with case preparation, investigation and strategy
• Maintain accurate notes and deadlines within case management software

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of pre-litigation experience in personal injury preferred
• Strong understanding of the personal injury processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• High level of professionalism, empathy, and client-service orientation
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
