Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in surgical units, focusing on trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases.
• Manage and prioritize multiple perioperative assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations, covering various shifts as required, ensuring coverage for up to 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks.
• Utilize Epic for accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Float between like units within hospital or affiliated facilities when required and cover occasional night shifts.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room with a strong focus on infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years operating room experience with trauma, ortho, general, vascular, and neuro specialties.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be beneficial.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Willingness to work variable start times and rotate on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to float within hospital and affiliated facilities as needed.
