Job Summary Radiology (X‑Ray) Technologist – Inpatient (Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital) and Outpatient (various facilities in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George and Stafford areas). Full‑time, part‑time and PRN positions available with shifts as appropriate, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Compensation & Benefits Relocation assistance offered for assignments 50+ miles from Fredericksburg. Sign‑on bonus available for full‑time and part‑time positions at Mary Washington. Required Qualifications ARRT registered or registry‑eligible in Radiologic Technology. Completion of an accredited two‑year Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent). VA State Radiologic Technologist License for outpatient facilities only. American Heart Association CPR certification. Lead Position Available. Additional Requirements Physical: Constant use of arms and hands (67‑100% of workday); frequent standing, walking, sitting (34‑66%); occasional bending, squatting (0‑33%); lift up to 35lb.; push/pull up to 20lb.; adequate auditory and visual skills including color determination. Mental: Critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to multi‑task; effective communication; collaboration with a multi‑disciplinary team; coping with difficult situations; tolerance of irregular hours. Environmental: Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals; potential bloodborne pathogens; require appropriate personal protective equipment. For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones3 & 4) at all times.
