Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. The PACU RN is responsible for monitoring patients during the immediate post-operative period, managing pain and complications, performing comprehensive assessments, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
• Previous PACU, Critical Care, ICU, ED, or Perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced post-anesthesia environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Specialty certification appropriate to PACU or perioperative nursing.

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association) (as required by the unit)
