Description Opportunity Information: Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire Hospitalists to join their established Hospitalist Program in Roseville, CA. Rounding Structure 15.6 shifts per month (avg) 10-hr rounding with an average census of 14-16 7a - 5p Additional admissions based on clinician preference Admitting Structure 10-hr shifts staggered throughout the day Day Admit: 7a - 5p Swing Admit: 11a - 9p, 1p - 11p, 3p - 1a Night Admit: 6p - 6a, 7p - 7a Additional Info Geographic zones, morning huddles, and MDR Robust sub‑specialty support Codes are run by the ICU and ER RRT runs by Hospitalist Teaching opportunities Be open to working up to 3 swings and 3 nights per month. Scheduling Physicians can expect to work a mix of rounding, day admit, swing admit, and night admit shifts every month Physicians (in general) have 2 weekends off each month Rounding is scheduled in 5‑7‑day blocks; can be longer or shorter if preferred Physicians rotate Teams (i.e. geographic location) regularly Qualifications MD or DO degree (or equivalent medical degree) from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and board certification or board‑eligibility in Internal Medicine (for many positions) at time of hire or Family Medicine with 2 years of direct experience. Valid medical licensure in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain it) prior to starting.
