Lead Data Engineer

Owning the data platform end to end, the full-time remote Lead Data Engineer will architect and enhance Fullbay's Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring trustworthy self-service access for business users and AI agents through certified metric definitions and disciplined standards. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain certified definitions and a semantic layer for company-wide reporting, ensuring documentation is current and accessible Build and extend the gold layer by writing SQL and transformation code with automated tests in version control Oversee identity resolution across platforms, including crosswalk logic and survivorship rules, while managing Snowflake's role hierarchy and access policies Required Qualifications 7+ years of data engineering experience with ownership of a production data platform Deep experience in dimensional modeling and the ability to articulate a restatement policy Proficiency with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse, including cost management and RBAC Experience with version-controlled code for transformations and CI, as well as change data capture techniques Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Virtual Vocations Inc
