Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have 2 or more years of Cath Lab experience. Candidates must have the ability to take call. Description: The unit consists of 5 recovery bays. There are 8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) staff members. The staffing for day shifts includes 5 eight-hour shifts. The patient ratio is 1 per procedural room and 5 in recovery. Equipment used includes GE/Philips and EMR Meditech, MERGE. Typical procedures performed include: LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, stenting, Impella, IABP, Peripheral Angiograms, PPM, ICD, EP studies, some IR procedures, thrombectomy, laser, and directional atherectomy. The best personality fit for this role is relaxed and laid back. One week of call per month is required.
