Physical Therapist Assistant
Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers (PTSMC) is accepting applications for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant at our Westbrook clinic.

The right candidate for this job is a dedicated clinician who is passionate about helping others move and feel better, driven to continue to develop their clinical skills and looking for a fun, collaborative work environment.
PTSMC is Connecticut's largest private-practice physical therapy provider, with 37 locations statewide serving more than 35,000 patients annually. Since 2000, President and physical therapist Alan Balavender has grown the company using a unique partnership model that empowers clinicians to own and operate their own practicesmore than 20 have done so and counting.

Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain appropriate high standards of clinical care to patients
- Take a "patient-first" approach to care by establishing a friendly, trustworthy rapport with patients
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally and achieve their goals
- Communicate effectively with physical therapists, physicians and other relevant healthcare providers
- Promote our "PT for Life" philosophy in community settings
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to apply
