Main Duties & Responsibilities Primary Job Role
Inspects truck and trailer before dispatch. Ensures all equipment meets operating and safety requirements. Loads, hauls and unloads machines at customer's job sites or at Ring Power facilities. Keeps up the appearance of the equipment and notifies Dispatcher of any problems. Maintains current knowledge of all state and federal laws. Maintains compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Maintains an accurate log book. Ensures all required documents are available for haul. Checks for customer abuse of equipment. Notes damages to equipment and informs Dispatcher. Maintains a good relationship with customers. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Job Competencies

Qualifications Education and Experience
Formal Education High School diploma or GED Experience 5-6 years Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers. A minimum of 5-8 years of class 7 & 8 driving required. Must possess a clean and valid Class A Driver's License. 5 - 8 years Tractor/Trailer equipment transport experience required. Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria Post High School education including a specialized technical course or equivalent years of experience as a Transport Driver preferred. Updating of Knowledge
Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years. Responsibility for Change, Innovation, Overall Improvement, and/or Effectiveness
