Job Title: RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care progressive care unit experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care PCU experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required. Description: This is a travel RN position in a Progressive Care Unit. The unit features a total of 345 beds and has achieved Magnet Designation three times. The facility has a floating staff pool of about 80 individuals. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 during both day and night shifts, which can vary between units. Experience with various types of equipment, including EMR systems, is expected. Candidates should possess strong skills in managing a large cardiac population. The role involves floating to different inpatient medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units. The best candidates will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to float. Being a team player and showing compassion is essential. This position offers a great learning opportunity to care for patients with various medical issues, both acute and chronic.
