This role involves supporting land-clearing operations by safely moving dirt, sludge, and debris to designated waste areas using off-road construction equipment. You will work onsite in an outdoor environment, performing physical tasks that include lifting up to 20 pounds and operating heavy machinery to maintain clear and safe work zones.

• Clear land by safely moving dirt, sludge, and debris to designated waste areas using appropriate equipment and tools.
• Operate off-road equipment such as articulated dump trucks, dozers, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform general construction and landscaping tasks, including shoveling and site clean-up.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on an active construction job site.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or maintenance needs to ensure safe operation.
• Work collaboratively with onsite team members to complete daily land-clearing and site preparation goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring debris and materials are properly handled and disposed of.
• Adapt to changing site conditions and instructions from supervisors to meet project requirements.

• Proven experience working on a construction job site.
• Ability to operate off-road equipment such as articulated dump trucks, dozers, and excavators.
• Hands-on experience with construction and landscaping activities, including shoveling and debris removal.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds as part of daily duties.
• Strong awareness of safety practices on active construction sites.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.

• Experience in land clearing or site preparation work.
• Familiarity with off-road trucks and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for early morning start times.

This position is entirely outdoors on an active construction site, requiring comfort working in varying weather conditions. The schedule typically runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with additional Saturday work as needed, resulting in 10-hour workdays. You will work around heavy equipment and moving vehicles, following strict safety protocols. Proper safety attire is required, including steel-toed ankle boots, safety vest, hard hat, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, KY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Bedford,KY.
