Insurance Claims Manager- Property AZ Location

Overview Lead a team of property claims service professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and business results. Must work on site in Chandler, AZ, and may require overtime during catastrophe events. Job Responsibilities Lead team to achieve goals and objectives by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising results. Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; develop personal growth opportunities. Recruit, select, orient, and train staff; maintain a safe work environment. Manage employee schedules, including assignments, training, vacations, paid time off, overtime, and coverage for absenteeism. Assist in creating strategic goals; analyze trends, define objectives, and evaluate outcomes. Maintain quality service by enforcing standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements. Communicate information through meetings, one-on-one sessions, email, IM, and other interpersonal channels. Develop critical skillsets of the team and aid in career development goals. Handle customer escalations, DOI complaints, and claims involving public adjusters or attorneys. Support workload surges and catastrophe operations, including significant overtime during designated events. Partner with internal resources to facilitate claims resolution. Minimum Requirements Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with clients, internal partners, and other team members. Availability to work after hours and on weekends as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Current Texas adjuster license or ability to obtain one. Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changes in processes or systems. Ability to learn new technologies. Preferred Requirements 3–5 years of property claims experience, including dwelling estimating. 1–2 years of leading property insurance claim professionals, handling both CAT and non‑CAT claims. Working knowledge of Xactimate. Working knowledge of Guidewire-based claims management systems. College degree and/or industry designations such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA.
